About us > Expertise
As a priority focus, the social entrepreneur leadership team at the New Development Solutions Group (NDSG) works to successfully create local solutions by designing, creating and implementing innovative models that facilitate efficient income generating and educational opportunities. Our success is derived from creating practical, low cost and flexible solutions that address real and perceived needs and offer compelling opportunities. NDSG conducts extensive analysis to ensure that the designed solution and implementation mechanism is one that is appropriate for the local environment and constituents. Our success is achieved through an interdisciplinary, intuitive and non-linear approach whereby all stakeholders add value. Throughout this process we are constantly focused on ensuring that financial, human and organizational capital is effectively and efficiently utilized to create high a impact that produces a continuous “multiplier effect”. At our core we firmly believe that sustainable success can only be encountered through work that truly empowers local constituents.
Through our combination of passion, in-depth analysis, creativity and persistent execution we are facilitating profound and measurable progress every day through the leadership of our non for profit Community Enterprise Solutions (CE Solutions) and its sister organization Social Entrepreneur Corps (SE Corps). Through these entities empower the successful work of Soluciones Comunitarias (SolCom), Turismo Ixil (TIX) and the Centro Explorativo (CentroEx), all locally owned and administered ventures that we have created to establish long term field-based financial and administrative self-sustainability.
In addition we have years of experience supporting other development organizations, institutions, universities and individuals in their efforts to create community impact. These efforts have taken us from the remote reaches of Guatemala to distant villages in Senegal to the war torn regions of Bosnia Herzegovina. Our expertise, gained through years of experience, is both deep and wide. An outline of our entrepreneurial and educational expertise with examples are as follows:
